Overview
School Savings is a nationwide social venture involving financial institutions, local schools and students. The bank or credit union provides free savings or checking accounts plus student incentives. The school's PTA/PTO group helps coordinate the school banking process while volunteers accept deposits at school. School Savings provides the online deposit software and electronically credits the students' accounts through the Federal Reserve Bank eliminating manual posting and reconciliation.
